The honorable member representing Atisbo/Saki East State Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Saminu Rilwan Gbadamosi, popularly known as Wale Canada, has joined millions of faithful across the globe to felicitate with the Muslim Ummah on the celebration of this year’s Eid-El-Maulud.

In his goodwill message, Hon. Gbadamosi called on Muslims to reflect on the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), which is defined by values of love, peace, humility, compassion, and tolerance. He noted that these virtues remain vital for promoting unity and progress in society.

The lawmaker further urged citizens of Oyo State and Nigeria at large, irrespective of religion, to seize the opportunity of this special occasion to pray for the peace, security, and prosperity of the nation, while continuing to support the administration of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, in driving sustainable growth and development.

“With faith, unity, and collective prayers, I believe Oyo State and Nigeria will overcome present challenges and emerge stronger,” Hon. Gbadamosi stated.

He concluded with prayers for a joyous celebration, saying:
“I wish all Muslim Ummah a peaceful and prosperous Maulud Nabbiy. May Almighty Allah grant our supplications and shower His blessings upon us all. Amin.”
