The Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion in Oyo State, Hon. (Mrs) Toyin Balogun, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, revered incoming 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The distinguished visit was described by the Commissioner as a great privilege to pay homage to one of her fathers and a highly respected elder statesman, whose ascension to the throne of Ibadanland marks a historic moment in the cultural and traditional landscape of the ancient city.
During the interaction, Kabiyesi Oba Ladoja seized the opportunity to discuss vital elements he wished to be incorporated into the grand coronation event being organized by the Oyo State Government. The deliberations underscored his commitment to ensuring that the historic occasion reflects the rich cultural heritage and unity of Ibadanland.

Also in attendance during the visit were Olori Iya Fathia, one of Oba Ladoja’s sons, and his private secretary, who all contributed to the warm and engaging atmosphere.

Hon. Toyin Balogun expressed appreciation for the audience granted by Kabiyesi, while also extending prayers for his long life, wisdom, and a peaceful reign that would further strengthen Ibadanland’s pride of place in Yorubaland and Nigeria at large.
