The Honourable Member representing Ibadan South East/Ibadan North East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, on Monday paid a special visit to the Political Head Administrator of Ibadan South Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ogundeji Teslim Adekunle, to felicitate with him on the occasion of his birthday.
Hon. Agboworin described Hon. Ogundeji as “a visionary leader who genuinely loves his people and remains committed to grassroots development.” He noted that the celebrant’s leadership style has continued to foster unity, growth, and progress within the council area.
The federal lawmaker, who was received into the council secretariat with pomp and fanfare by the management and staff of Ibadan South LCDA, commended the workers for their loyalty and dedication. He urged them to sustain their support for Hon. Ogundeji’s administration, stressing that collaborative effort between leadership and the workforce is key to achieving greater success.
Hon. Agboworin further reiterated his commitment to delivering more dividends of democracy to the people of his constituency. He assured that ongoing developmental projects will be expanded, while new initiatives tailored to the needs of the people will be introduced.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Agboworin also called for continuous support for the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, whose administration he described as people-oriented and development-driven.
The birthday celebration was marked by warmth, goodwill messages, and prayers for the celebrant, as dignitaries, Political associates,staff, and well-wishers joined in honouring Hon. Ogundeji Teslim on his special day.
