In a remarkable gesture of love, unity, and religious tolerance, Hon. Olusoji Alade, a champion of Ibadan culture and former Oyo State House of Assembly aspirant, has renovated the historic Adamasingba Central Mosque in Ward 6, Ibadan North Local Government.

The commissioning of the renovated mosque was performed by the dynamic and people-oriented Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, in the presence of religious leaders, political stakeholders, and community members.
Speaking before the commissioning, the Chairman of the League of Imams and Alfas in Ibadan North, Imam Bello, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Almighty Allah for blessing Oyo State with a Governor who promotes peace, religious harmony, and tolerance.

He praised Governor Seyi Makinde for his uncommon style of leadership, which has fostered unity and development across the state.

Imam Bello also showered encomiums on Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade for replicating the Governor’s model of leadership at the grassroots, describing him as a humble, respectful, and sincere leader who cares deeply for Islamic clerics.
He lauded Hon. Olusoji Alade for his consistent love for Muslims, recalling his sponsorship of Ramadan radio programmes throughout the holy month and now the renovation of the Adamasingba Central Mosque.
“Hon. Alade is a true ambassador of religious harmony.

Despite being a Christian, he has shown the Muslim community immense love and support.
May Almighty Allah bless him abundantly and grant his heart desires,” Imam Bello prayed.
He further commended Hon. Ibrahim Fairah, the Councilor representing Ward 6, for facilitating numerous projects out of genuine love for his community, praying for him to attain greater heights.
He also acknowledged Hon. Kazim Adeniyi Adeyinka Bibire, Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Makinde, for his constant support to the League of Imams and Alfas in Ibadan North, as well as Alhaji Danjuma, PDP leader in Sabo, for his impactful and exemplary leadership.
The Chief Imam of Adamasingba Central Mosque, Imam Ibrahim Tiami, could not hide his joy as he expressed gratitude to Hon. Olusoji Alade for remembering his roots and giving back to the community that raised him.
“It is indeed remarkable that a Christian son of this soil has renovated a mosque.
May Allah continue to bless him beyond expectations,” he prayed.
In his remarks, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade praised Hon. Alade for prioritizing humanity above religious differences, stressing that Ibadan North remains a shining model of peaceful coexistence.
“This noble act by Hon. Olusoji Alade shows that love and humanity transcend religion.
Ibadan North is one family, and we must continue to promote that spirit everywhere,” Olufade said, while also thanking the Sabo community for their massive support of the PDP in the last bye-election.
The event climaxed with the commissioning of the mosque and Hon. Olufade’s donation of a brand-new generator to further support the worshippers.
