Wale Canada Commiserates with Rep. Anthony ‘Ibarapakan’ over Father’s Demise

Oyo State lawmaker, Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi JP, popularly known as Wale Canada, and Member representing Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency, has expressed heartfelt condolences over the passing of Pa Amos Ademola Adepoju, father of Hon. Dr. Anthony Adepoju Adebayo (Ibarapakan), who represents Ibarapa North/Central Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Pa Adepoju, who passed away in the early hours of Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the age of 89, was described as a devoted father, respected community leader, and a man whose life epitomized humility, service, and integrity.

In his condolence message, Hon. Gbadamosi described the death of Pa Adepoju as a painful loss to the Adepoju family and the entire Ibarapaland, noting that Baba’s values and contributions to humanity will remain indelible.

> “I sympathize deeply with my brother and colleague, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adepoju Ibarapakan, and the entire Adepoju family on the passing of their beloved father. Baba’s life was one of impact, values, and inspiration. He will be fondly remembered for his uprightness, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to community growth.”

The lawmaker further urged Hon. Adepoju and his family to take solace in the fact that their late father lived a fulfilled and impactful life, adding that his legacy will continue to inspire generations yet unborn.
