In a show of unity and respect, Senator Gbenga Babalola led a delegation of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwarts from Iseyin on a courtesy visit to the Bodija residence of the Olubadan-designate, Oba Chief Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja. The visit, which took place today, was marked by warm interactions and a solemn prayer session in honor of the revered monarch-in-waiting.
The prayer session was led by the immediate past Vice Chairman of Iseyin Local Government, Hon. Ajibola Raheem FM, who offered prayers for wisdom, long life, and peaceful reign for the Olubadan-designate. The spiritual moment set a tone of reverence and goodwill, reflecting the high regard in which Oba Ladoja is held by political and traditional institutions across Oyo State.
Among the dignitaries present was Surveyor Hon. Adefabi Dasola Fadiran, a serving member of the Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYSROMA), who expressed appreciation for the opportunity to honor a leader of Oba Ladoja’s stature. Also in attendance was Chief Hon. Tanwa Adekunle, Secretary of Iseyin South Local Government, who noted the importance of maintaining strong ties between traditional institutions and political leadership.
Comrade Ajibola Tanwa and several other key figures from the Iseyin PDP fold were also part of the delegation, underscoring the broad-based support and recognition of Oba Ladoja’s upcoming ascension. Their presence reinforced a message of solidarity and mutual respect between the political and traditional leadership of the state.
