The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Honourable Kehinde Akande, alongside 10 other local government chairmen in Ibadan, paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan designate, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, at his residence in Bodija. Led by ALGON Chairman, Hon Sikiru Sanda Lajue, the delegation pledged their commitment and total support to the Ibadan Traditional Council.

The delegation, comprising chairmen of the 11 local governments that make up Ibadan Land, was warmly received by Oba Rasidi Ladoja. During the visit, they expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming coronation of Oba Rasidi Ladoja, scheduled for September 26th.
The local government chairmen pledged their total support to the Ibadan Traditional Council, acknowledging its unique succession system. They reaffirmed their commitment to working together with the traditional institution to promote the development and progress of Ibadan Land.

The chairmen also expressed their commitment to replicating Governor Seyi Makinde’s good governance mantra for the progress and development of Ibadan Land. They emphasized the importance of collaboration and cooperation between the government and traditional institutions in driving development.


The delegation wished Oba Rasidi Ladoja a long and prosperous reign, praying for his success and well-being. “Long live HRM Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja! they exclaimed.
