Every August 18th is a day of celebration and accolades as well-wishers from across Oyo State and beyond come together to honor the Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, on the occasion of his birthday celebration today.
Recognized for his tireless dedication to youth empowerment, community development, and progressive leadership, Hon. Adebowale received a wave of tributes from political leaders, youth groups, civil society organizations, and community stakeholders. Many described him as a beacon of hope for the younger generation and a catalyst for positive change in the state.
Under his leadership, the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development has launched numerous initiatives aimed at skill acquisition, entrepreneurship, digital inclusion, and civic engagement, which have directly impacted thousands of young people across urban and rural areas.
Speaking on the significance’s day, the Coordinating Director of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Mr. Sangogade, commended Adebowale’s “visionary approach to youth policy” and reaffirmed the government’s support for the agency’s initiatives.
“Chairman Adebowale embodies the energy and commitment that our youth needs. His work speaks volumes and his impact is felt deeply in every corner of the state,” the representative said.

He is a master of the game and a humane personality leader with excellent wisdom, Ideals, Knowledge, understanding, and a vision driven par excellence. He always distanced himself from controversial circumstances. He is very cool and calm, in fact, you hardly know when he is angry because of his humane and humble mind.
As you are adding another graceful year to your blessed age. You shall continue to be honoured by all men and women because you’re distinguished among honoured men.
Youth group, ASOYORK, PROTAAN, Entertainment Stakeholders, and Staff members of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development described the celebrant as a visionary leader, a mentor, a game changer, and an administrator par excellence.
“Our Chris is an airman on his Birthday today. May the Almighty God grant him many more years in prosperity and wealth in Jesus’ name. The statement concluded.
Forum of Association of Local Government Chairmen (ALGON), Oyo State 10th House of Assembly Members, Commissioners, Forum of Board of Chairmen, Director-Generals, and others applauded the celebrant for his outstanding performance in transforming the productive Oyo State Youth to greater heights.
In a statement released early this morning, the celebrant, Hon. Adebowale, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming show of love and reaffirmed his commitment to championing the cause of youth.
“This birthday reminds me that our journey is far from over. The dreams of our young people matter, and I will continue to do everything within my power to help them realize their full potential,” he said.
Today, I am most grateful to God for the gift of life, good health, and the privilege to serve. As I celebrate another year, I reflect on how far He has brought me and the countless opportunities to make an impact, especially in the lives of young people across Oyo State.
Serving as Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development has been one of the greatest honours of my life. Every day, I draw inspiration from the resilience, creativity, and passion of our youth. They remind me why I must keep pushing boundaries, creating opportunities, and building a future where every young person can thrive.
To my family, friends, colleagues, and the incredible youths of Oyo State who constantly support and encourage me, THANK YOU. Your prayers, love, and partnership mean the world to me.
As he marks another year, many see Hon. Adebowale not just as a public servant, but as a symbol of a new era of youth-driven governance in Oyo State.
