In a strong show of party unity, Governor Seyi Makinde’s aide, Dr. Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), visited Ward 1 (Akanran) and Ward 4 (Gbada Efon) in Ona-Ara Local Government today, Friday, August 15, 2025, urging PDP members to remain loyal and committed to the party’s ideals.
The Director-General, Oyo State Liaison Office for Abuja & Lagos, fresh from leading a massive Solidarity Walk for Governor Seyi Makinde FNSE last week, emphasised that the Governor is not only the undisputed leader of PDP in Oyo State, but also a towering figure in the South-West and at the national level.
Addressing party faithful, OTOPE called for love, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence, stressing that unwavering loyalty to Makinde’s leadership is the key to strengthening the party’s influence across the state and beyond.
“Governor Seyi Makinde is the PDP leader in Oyo State, in the South-West, and a respected voice nationally. We must key into his vision for our party, for Oyo State, and for Nigeria as a whole,” OTOPE declared.
He urged members to resist distractions from political realignments and to work tirelessly towards consolidating PDP’s dominance at all levels.
