In a renewed show of grassroots partnership and commitment to community development, the Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board
OYSHMB Dr. Stephen Fagbemi, today received the Councillors of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government in a courtesy visit at his office in the Oyo State Secretariat, Ibadan.
The delegation, led by the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Oluwagbemileke Gbadamosi Nelson, was warmly welcomed by Dr. Fagbemi, a seasoned medical expert and respected political stakeholder in the local government.
The visit was aimed at strengthening collaboration between the state health institution and the local legislative council in delivering quality healthcare and sustainable development projects within the Ibadan NorthWest communities.
During the interactive session, Dr. Fagbemi reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the progress of Ibadan NorthWest, noting that development thrives best through unity and effective collaboration. He emphasized his openness to working with all critical stakeholders—within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the local government, and across Oyo State for the collective good of the people.
“I am deeply honoured by this visit. Ibadan NorthWest is home, and we must continue to work as one to support the vision of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, in transforming lives and communities,” Dr. Fagbemi said.
On behalf of the councillors, Rt. Hon. Gbadamosi appreciated Dr. Fagbemi for his leadership, accessibility, and continued support to the grassroots, describing him as “a unifier and a pillar of strength to the PDP family in Ibadan NorthWest.”
The meeting ended with renewed assurance of mutual support and alignment with the Governor’s agenda for improved healthcare and inclusive governance in Oyo State.
