Oyo Lawmaker, Babalola Abiodun, PhD. Pays Surprise Visit To PDP Ibadan North East Ward 4 Meeting With Cash Donations

In a demonstration of grassroots connection and party solidarity, Hon. Babalola Abiodun, PhD, lawmaker representing Ibadan North East Constituency I at the Oyo State House of Assembly, on Wednesday paid a surprise visit to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ward 4 meeting in Ibadan North East Local Government.

The meeting, held at the usual ward venue, was being coordinated by the Ward 4 Chairman, Alhaji Dauda Alausa, with several notable party leaders in attendance including Baba lawal, Elder Captain Jet, Elder Ajebaba, Mrs. Bola Obisesan, Imam Mojeed Omituntun, and Hon. Kazeem Adebayo from Ward 1, among many others.

Hon. Babalola’s unexpected arrival sparked excitement among party members, who welcomed him with enthusiasm and chants of solidarity.

In his brief address, Hon. Babalola commended the ward for its consistency, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the PDP. He used the opportunity to reiterate his dedication to the development of Ibadan North East Constituency I and to the growth of the party at all levels.

To further encourage the ward’s mobilization efforts and strengthen its operations, Hon. Babalola made a generous cash donation during the meeting. He noted that his support was not politically driven but a reflection of his appreciation for the grassroots that continue to stand by the party through thick and thin.

“I am here today not as a guest, but as a brother, and as someone who appreciates your tireless efforts in keeping the party active at the grassroots. This little token is to support your work and show that I see what you are doing,” he said.

Leaders present commended Hon. Babalola for his humility, responsiveness, and his people-centered leadership style. They applauded his past and ongoing constituency projects, including the solar light installations that have impacted several communities within the constituency.

The meeting ended on a high note, with members expressing renewed energy and commitment toward the continued success of the PDP in Ibadan North East.
