The Oyo State Government, through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has announced a partnership with SQI College of ICT to enhance access to digital education in the state.

As part of this collaboration, the state government will support the 15th edition of the SQI College of ICT Scholarship, a nationwide program designed to equip one million Nigerians with essential digital and ICT skills.

Scholarship Details:
Theme:”Collaborate with AI”
Registration: Now open online and at multiple SQI campuses across Nigeria
Test Dates: July 12 to August 2, 2025

This initiative aligns with the state government’s efforts to promote digital literacy and technological advancement, as seen in previous partnerships with Microsoft and Signal Alliance to provide 800 computers across eight centers in Oyo State.

The program aims to prepare students for the demands of the 21st-century digital landscape and contribute to the state’s economic growth.

The Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke, has called on the youth of Oyo State to take advantage of the digital education program and be part of its beneficiaries.

She encouraged them to take a bold step towards acquiring digital skills that will enhance their employability and contribute to the state’s economic growth.

By participating in the program, the youth can gain valuable knowledge and skills that will empower them to succeed in the digital age.

The partnership with SQI College of ICT is expected to empower more Nigerians with relevant digital skills, enhancing their employability and contribution to the nation’s economy.
