The Executive Chairman of the Ibadan North East Local Government Area, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, has expressed his heartfelt condolences on the passing of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, who joined his ancestors today.
Akintayo described the monarch’s death as a painful loss.
In his statement, Akintayo praised the late Olubadan’s wisdom, leadership, and commitment to the development of Ibadanland.
He noted that the monarch’s legacy would live on in the hearts of the people, describing him as a respected leader and champion of Ibadan’s culture and traditions while he was alive.
Akintayo commiserated with the immediate family of the late monarch, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, and the entire Ibadan residents, praying for the repose of the monarch’s soul and fortitude for his family to bear the loss.
