The Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government, Hon Sanda Sikiru Oyedele has felicitated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin (Ige Olakulehin 1), on the occasion of his 90th birthday anniversary.
According to Hon Sanda,” On behalf of political stalwarts, traditional council, community and religious leaders, and inhabitants of Egbeda local government, I joined the people of Ibadanland, the traditional institution, and all well-wishers across the world in celebrating the remarkable life and legacy of Olubadan of Ibadanland, HIM Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin Ige 1.
“At 90, the reign of Oba Olakulehin has characterised by wisdom, peace, and unwavering commitment to the progress of people of Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
Hon Sanda described Oba Olakulehin as a foremost traditional ruler, custodian of culture, and tradition, a revered older statesman who has devoted his life in serving humanity and preserving Yoruba culture, tradition, and values.
“May your reign be peaceful, impactful, and prosperous as you mark nine decades of a live well lived in sacrifice, service, and stewardship not only your longevity but also your immense contribution to Ibadanland, Oyo State and the nation at large”.
The council boss prayed for strength, grace, sound health, and a longer life for Oba Olakulehin, and may your reign continues to symbolise peace, prosperity, and pride for generations to come.
