As the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1447, commences, Ogunsola Olusina, a prominent chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives (Oluyole Federal Constituency), has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslim faithful across Oyo State and beyond.

In a goodwill message titled “Hijrah 1447: A Journey to Resilience and Peace,” Ogunsola described the Islamic New Year as a period of deep reflection, spiritual renewal, and a recommitment to the core values of peace, tolerance, and community growth.
He specifically congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for his consistent efforts in promoting religious harmony and inclusive governance across the state. He also extended his greetings to the people of Oluyole Federal Constituency, from Ward 1 to Ward 10, and acknowledged the contributions of key political stakeholders for their continued dedication to the development of Oyo State.

> “Hijrah is not just a historical migration; it is a timeless reminder of courage, faith, and perseverance in the face of trials. At a time like this, our unity, resilience, and shared vision for a better society must be rekindled,” Ogunsola remarked.

He urged all residents of Oyo State to seize the occasion to pray for lasting peace in Nigeria, support efforts at good governance, and embrace the values of love, sacrifice, and service—hallmarks of true leadership.

Ogunsola reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the development of Oluyole Federal Constituency, vowing to be a voice for the people and a champion of progressive policies that reflect the aspirations of the masses.
> “As we mark Hijrah 1447, may it usher in a new era of peace, prosperity, and collective progress for all,” he concluded.
