As the crescent moon heralds the dawn of the new Islamic year, 1447 After Hijrah (A.H.), Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, FCA, the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Nigeria and beyond.

In his goodwill message, Oloye Adegoke congratulated the entire Muslim Ummah for witnessing the beginning of another sacred year in the Islamic calendar, noting that the new year marks not only the passage of time but also an opportunity for renewed spiritual reflection, growth, and dedication to the values of faith, peace, and unity.

“I heartily felicitate with ournMuslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of the new Islamic Year 1447 A.H. This is a moment to be grateful to Almighty Allah for the gift of life and the privilege to witness this sacred transition.” Adegoke stated.

He encouraged the faithful to embrace the lessons of Hijrah; sacrifice, perseverance, and the pursuit of righteousness urging the Muslim community to remain steadfast in their prayers for peace, prosperity, and progress in Nigeria, especially during these times of national transformation.

Oloye Adegoke, the Chairman of Solutions 93.9 FM, further emphasized the importance of tolerance and interfaith harmony as a foundation for national unity. He called on religious and community leaders to continue to foster mutual respect and cooperation for the betterment of society.

“As we enter this new Islamic year, may it bring us closer to achieving our personal and collective aspirations. May it be a year of divine favour, abundant blessings, and sustainable development for our dear country,” he concluded.
