Hijrah 1447: Hon. Dr. Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE) Extends Warm Felicitations to Muslim Ummah Across Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency and Oyo State

As Muslims around the world usher in the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1447 A.H., the Director-General of the Oyo State Liaison Offices in Abuja and Lagos, Hon. Dr. Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as OTOPE, has extended his warmest greetings and heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim faithful in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency and throughout Oyo State.

In a goodwill message, Dr. Oladimeji described the Hijrah as a profoundly symbolic occasion that calls for spiritual introspection, moral rejuvenation, and renewed commitment to community values.

“As we mark the commencement of Hijrah 1447, I extend my sincere congratulations to our Muslim brothers and sisters,” Dr. Oladimeji stated. “This sacred period signifies the historic migration of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), a journey of faith, perseverance, and visionary leadership that laid the foundation for the Islamic faith. It is a powerful reminder of the virtues of sacrifice, unity, and purposeful redirection.”

He further emphasized that the Islamic New Year offers an opportunity not only for personal reflection and spiritual growth but also for fostering peace, tolerance, and collective progress in society.

Dr. Oladimeji also commended the resilience, contributions, and spiritual strength of the Muslim community in Oyo State, particularly within the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, noting their role in sustaining peace and driving grassroots development.
