Pragmatic Representation: Kehinde Giwa Hails Ibadan NorthWest/SouthWest Lawmakers

As the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly marks its second year in office, Hon. Kehinde Giwa, a frontline aspirant for the Ibadan NorthWest/SouthWest Federal Constituency, has extended warm commendations to the state legislators representing the area for their commitment, diligence, and impactful representation.

Hon. Giwa lauded Hon. Dawood Olalere (Ibadan NorthWest State Constituency), Hon. Yusuff Adebisi (Ibadan SouthWest State Constituency I), and Hon. Femi Fowokanmi (Ibadan SouthWest State Constituency II) for what he described as “pragmatic and people-focused legislative representation” that has contributed meaningfully to the development of their respective constituencies and the overall progress of the state.

He noted that their efforts, in synergy with the policies of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration, have brought about visible improvements in infrastructure, education, and community development in Ibadanland and beyond.

Hon. Giwa also congratulated the Speaker of the 10th Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, on the successful milestone, describing him as a youthful and visionary leader who has guided the Assembly with maturity, balance, and a deep sense of duty. He praised other members of the Assembly for their legislative harmony and focus on the betterment of Oyo State.

In his remarks, Giwa expressed deep appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering support for the legislative arm and his continued commitment to good governance and people-oriented policies. He emphasized the critical role that executive-legislative collaboration plays in democratic growth and sustainable development.

Hon. Giwa further commended the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State for providing a stable political platform that continues to deliver on its promises to the people. He highlighted the party’s inclusive structure and strong internal democracy as key factors behind its enduring success in the state.
