The ancient Ipapo town in Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State witnessed a landmark event on Monday as indigenes from all walks of life gathered at Baptist Basic School, Ipapo, to throw their full weight behind the gubernatorial ambition of their son, Amofin Beulah Adeoye.

The gathering marked what many now describe as a generational awakening, not just for the community, but for the entire Oke-Ogun region, which has long called for power shift to the zone.

The event was graced by His Royal Majesty, Oba Yekeen Ademola Abioye II, Eleyinpo of Ipapo, alongside royal chiefs, respected elders, and leaders from both the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Muslim community.

Oba Abioye II in his speech declared, “this is the first time we are witnessing such a movement. Let us not allow politics or division to ruin what could be our breakthrough. Amofin is our son. We must all rally behind him.”

Representing the youth, Mr. Adediran Johnson affirmed their full support and readiness to champion the cause across physical and digital spaces.

“This is not just Amofin’s dream—it is our dream. We, the youth, are ready to lead the charge.”

Also speaking, Pa Rasheed Alawiye , on behalf of the Gbẹ́nàgbẹ́nà Compound, emphasized that Amofin is a true son of the soil. Stating that “His aspiration is personal to the compound and the entire community. He is from our root—we must own this cause with pride.”

Reverend Dr. Steve Awoleye, the convener of the gathering, emphasized that the movement is not about religion or party affiliation, but a Devine movement.

“This is about unity. Oke-Ogun deserve more than we have received. It is time for us to come together under one purpose.”

Both Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) pastors and Muslim clerics offered prayers and counsel, each encouraging the community to unite behind this vision.

“Let us not be divided. This is a divine assignment. We must support this mission with faith and action,” they echoed.

In a heartfelt virtual appearance ,Amofin Beulah Adeoye expressed deep gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to serve the good people of Oyo State.

“This support strengthens my resolve on my aspiration, and promised to lead with integrity and fear of God.”

Honourable Amelo, former member of the House of Representatives, who also joined virtually, urged the community to remain focused and structured.

“This is not just a campaign. It must become a movement for justice and inclusion in Oyo politics,” he stated.

Prof. Gideon Olajire Adeoye who also spoke at the event, thanked the Community for their love and offer blessings for peace and victory.

As the crowd dispersed, one message rang clear: “When our own rises, our land will rise. Beulah 2027 is not just a journey, It is a movement to make Oke Ogun finally take its place.”
