Ilaji 91.9 FM Hosts Grand Imam of Oyo State, Sheikh Agbotomokekere, for a Special Ileya Broadcast

In a momentous blend of spirituality, culture, and media, Ilaji 91.9 FM, one of Ibadan’s newest and fastest-growing radio station hosted His Eminence, Sheikh Abdulganiy Abubakry Agbotomokekere, the Grand Imam of Oyo State,as guest on a live Special Ileya program earlier today.

The live appearance of the revered religious Imam and Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, Sheikh Agbotomokekere’s marked a significant milestone for the station, which is quickly becoming a household name in Oyo State’s broadcast landscape.

Ilaji 91.9 FM is the media extension of the acclaimed Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort and a grand initiative of the Ajia Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief (Engr.) Jubril Dotun Sanusi, with a mission centered on community development, promotion of culture and tradition with impactful storytelling, the station continues to carve a niche in the hearts of its listeners.

Upon arrival, the Grand Imam was warmly received by the General Manager of Ilaji Resort, Mr. Riliwan Akinola, along with a delegation from the Ilaji Muslim community, including Imam Badmus Mubarak Ololade, Mr. Yekeen Adeoye, and Alhaja Adekumbi-Sanusi Morufat, who extended goodwill messages on behalf of the management.

Anchored by the energetic pair of MC Galaxy and Mr. Rahmon Alawode, the event was a dynamic fusion of spiritual reflection and good entertainment. A highlight of the day was the special prayer session offered for the peace and prosperity of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Seyi Makinde, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the global Muslim Ummah.
