Makinde’s Commissioner Urges Citizens to Pray for our State/Nation,Inculcate Sacrifice & Discipline in Spirit of Eid-el-Kabir

The Honorable Commissioner for Women Affairs & Social Inclusion has felicitated Muslims on the advent of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

Hon(Mrs) Toyin Balogun in a statement personally signed urged Muslims to continue praying for Oyo state and the country, particularly for our visionary Leader; His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde to enable him birth fully, his progressive vision for our state

The member of the Oyo State Executive Council implored all to inculcate the spirit of sacrifice and discipline, which are the principal hallmarks of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration

She prayed that the spirit of sacrifice, obedience, and devotion that defines this celebration will continue to guide us all. May the lessons of Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and willingness to sacrifice his only son Ismail serve as a source of inspiration to us all.

The Commissioner urged Muslim brethren to go beyond the festivities and reflect on the significance of this occasion,advocating that we all utilize this opportunity to reach out to the vulnerable demographics( women,children,the elderly,the physically challenged and truly indigent)in our midst to share those blessings Allah(SWT) has graciously bestowed on us with the less priviledged, and to promote unity, peace, and understanding in our communities.

While extending the admonition to All Nigerians, she called for personal and collective discipline and sacrifices for the state and the country to enable its development

She stated that challenging seasons like this call for renewed commitment to the worship of Allah (SWT), noting that with unity of purpose our state will prosper in line with the vision of His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde

Once again,she wished all Muslims in Oyo State and Nigeria at large a happy Eid el Kabir Celebration
