Children’s Day: “Children Are the Best Gift” – Oloye Adegoke

As Nigeria celebrates Children’s Day, the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland and Chairman of Solutions 93.9 FM, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke FCA has described children as “the best gift” to families and society at large.

Oloye Adegoke reflected on his own childhood, recounting memories that shaped his values and fueled his passion for community service. “Every child deserves love, protection, and guidance. My journey as a child across the towns and villages of Oyo made me who I am today,” he said.

The respected Mogaji of Abosé Compound Gege Ibadan used the occasion to underscore the critical role of parenting in shaping future leaders. He emphasized that strong parental support, discipline, and cultural grounding are essential for the positive development of any child.

In the same vein, the Oyo State PDP gubernatorial hopeful praised the inclusion of children-focused initiatives and free education in the Makinde’s led administration.

He reaffirmed his commitment to policies that prioritize child welfare, education, healthcare, and inclusion in the broader vision for Oyo’s progress.

“As we build the future of Oyo State, the voices, dreams, and safety of our children will remain central to our development blueprint,” he added.
