4 Years of Dedication: Akande-Led Administration Marks Anniversary with Impactful Initiatives in IBSWLG

The Honourable Kehinde Akande-led administration in Ibadan South West Local Government is set to celebrate its 4th year anniversary with a two-day event filled with community outreach programs and activities.

The celebration, which will take place on May 26th and 27th, 2025, aims to give back to the community and showcase the administration’s achievements over the past four years.

Day 1: May 26th, 2025

The first day of the celebration will kick off with a medical outreach program, where residents will have access to free medical screening and treatment. This will be followed by a prayer session, where community leaders and residents will come together to give thanks for the administration’s achievements.

The day will conclude with a football match, which will bring together young people from different parts of the local government area.

Day 2: May 27th, 2025

The second day of the celebration will focus on empowerment, recognition, and project commissioning. The administration will empower residents with skills and resources to enhance their livelihoods.

The event will also feature recognition ceremonies for outstanding individuals and groups who have contributed to the development of the local government area. Additionally, the administration will commission new projects, including infrastructure development and community facilities.
