Oyo South PDP Meeting: Stakeholders Reaffirm Commitment to Makinde’s Vision

The Oyo South Senatorial District of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held a highly successful meeting, attended by prominent party dignitaries and key stakeholders across the district.

Among the notable attendees were the Rt. Hon. Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Debo Ogundoyin, who was accompanied by all 11 PDP members of the House from the district. Also present was Hon. Anthony Adepoju, the Member of the House of Representatives representing Ibarapa Central and North.

Other distinguished personalities in attendance were: former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Hon. Azeem Gbolarumi,former Oyo State First Lady, Alhaja Mutiat Olayinka Oladoja,Mogaji Chief Nureni Akanbi,Chief Ẹyinade Elejire, Hon. Ademola Ojo, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters,Hon. Yemi Taiwo.

Local Government Chairmen in attendance included: Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, Hon. Rahmon Adepoju, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, Hon. Kehinde Akande, Hon. Sheriff Adejoke, Hon. Kazeem Arogundade, Hon. Emmanuel Alawode, Hon. Lawal Lateef, and Hon. Adeleke Olusola.

Also present were Special Assistants on Federal Constituency to the Governor: Hon. Julian Arike Nwachuku, Mathew Akano, Hon. Labule Isola, and Hon. Monsuru Oduola.

The meeting was further enriched by the presence of other political leaders and stakeholders such as Chief Toafeek Adegoke Adegboyega,Hon. Yusuf Ali Supreme, Baba Abidikugu, Hon. Elias Adeojo, Hon. Akeem Ige and Hon. Aborode.

Oyo State PDP Executives in attendance included Alhaji Wasiu Adewumi Adeleke, Alhaji Kamorudeen Adewumi, Pastor Popoola, Adewumi Adelabu, Hon. Kunmi Adesina, Hon. Funmi Orisadeyi, Hon. Komolafe Tinuade, Hon. Toafeek Oladebo, Hon. Oladokun Saobana, Hon. Adebisi Dupe Temileyi, and Hon. Michael Ogunsina, along with all political appointees from the district.

During the meeting, reports were presented by the PDP Local Government Chairmen, and key issues affecting the party and the district were thoroughly addressed by party leaders.

The Party Secretary Alh Wasiu Adewumi Adeleke assured attendees that all points raised had been duly noted and would be forwarded to His Excellency, Governor Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde. The primary goal of the meeting was to foster unity and ensure that all party stakeholders are aligned and working together on a unified front.
