IB’ North LG Chairman, Olufade Celebrates Oyo Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Sunkanmi Babalola ‘Sunky’, On His Birthday

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended warm birthday greetings to oyo state house of assembly member representing Egbeda state Constituency, Hon. Olasunkanmi Samson Babalola, popularly known as Sunky, describing him as a dedicated legislator, trusted friend, and a brother with an admirable heart for service.

In a message made available through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Hon. Olufade praised Hon. Babalola’s outstanding contributions as the Deputy Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly and Chairman of the Finance, Appropriation, and State Economic Planning Committee.

He specifically commended his strategic role in the recent passage of the 2025 Appropriation Bill.

“Today, I am filled with joy as I celebrate my friend and brother, Hon. Olasunkanmi Babalola, on the occasion of his birthday.

I am proud of all he has achieved, what he is currently achieving, and what he will undoubtedly continue to achieve in service to our state,” Olufade said.

He further highlighted Hon. Babalola’s active involvement in various House standing committees, including those on Public Petitions, Justice and Judiciary; Education; and Foreign Relations, noting that his legislative impact is widely felt and deeply appreciated.

Hon. Olufade also reflected on their personal relationship, describing the Egbeda lawmaker as a humble and loyal individual with a sincere heart.

“He is more than a Friend, he is a brother whose integrity and commitment to the people of Egbeda State Constituency stand out.”

The Ibadan North chairman concluded his message with prayers for long life, good health, and continued divine blessings for the celebrant.

“May this new age usher in greater accomplishments, sound health, and an abundance of blessings.

I wish him many more years of impactful service and joyful celebrations,” Olufade said.
