The people of Iresa Pupa and all other dignitaries today troop out to celebrate Nigerian Navy School Commandant, Captain Evelyn Egwurube and her conferment of chieftaincy title as “YEYE AKOGUN” (Combatant Mother of Iresa Pupa) by His Royal Majesty, Oba Moses Olayiwola Ajiboye 111, J.P., the Aresa -Pupa of Iresa -Pupa on her in the presence of all the title chiefs of the town, dignitaries, sons and daughters of the Iresa Pupa.

While exercising the power of prescribed authority over chieftaincies in his domain, Oba Olayiwola expressed a great joy to have a dutiful, resilient, hardworking personnel like Navy Captain Evelyn who he described as the mother of Iresa Pupa children and a woman of substance who have prevent the town from any external or internal attacks through the school that was located in the town.
The traditional ruler also appreciates the new “Yeye Akogun” of Iresa Pupa for adding value to the loves of his people through employment of indigenes into formal and informal sectors in the NNSS. In his words, ‘I am thrilled to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on being bestowed with the esteemed chieftaincy title. This honour is a testament to your unwavering dedication, exemplary leadership, and the profound impact you have made in our community”

“Your commitment to serving others and your contributions to our culture and heritage have not gone unnoticed. This title is not only a recognition of your achievements but also a celebration of the values and traditions you uphold”.

Oba Moses Olayiwola continued, “May this new chapter in your life bring you joy, fulfillment, and the continued respect of those around you. We are excited to see the great things you have accomplished within the space of time you are here and In pray you shall attained a greater post in the service “.

In her response, the newly installed “Yeye Akogun” appreciate the traditional ruler, chiefs, sons and daughters of Iresa-Pupa for the love and support all this while as the head of the Nigerian Navy School, saying she has enjoyed the cooperation and full support of everyone. ” I am very grateful to Oba Olayiwola, Ajiboye 111 and all the chiefs and indigenes for the honour as a chieftaincy title holder, it is indeed a climax of love from the people and this shall propel me to do more for Iresa Pupa.
She advised the parents to train their children without gender biased as she described it as a road to successful life and unending ladder of what anybody wants to be in future”.

Chief Captain Evelyn Egwurube also charged the people to continue to support the traditional ruler and cooperate with one another in other to attract more meaningful development for the town and community
