The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, on Tuesday, led a high-powered delegation of stakeholders on a ward tour rally, demonstrating the party’s unity and commitment to Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership.
The delegation, comprising prominent party members, including Oyo State PDP Treasurer Hon.Sunday Bankole, Party Chairman Alh. Hamzat Ibrahim, Hon. Abu Salam Arije, Hon. Jide Oketunbi, and other key political appointees, visited various wards, including Okelerin Ward 8, Aje-Ogunbado Oke Agbede Ward 2, and Jagun Ward 7, Abogunde ward 1. Saja Isale Ora ward 6.
During the rally, Alh. Hamzat Ibrahim highlighted the stakeholders’ roles and commitment to the party’s success, commending Hon. Ogunlade’s efforts in prioritizing party members’ welfare.
The State Treasurer however emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity within the party, urging the wards to continue supporting PDP under Governor Makinde’s leadership.
Also speaking, Hon. Ogunlade, reaffirmed the party’s commitment to members’ well-being, assuring the wards that his office is open to support them.
The ward executives, on their part, praised Hon. Ogunlade’s approachability and “talk and do” leadership style, noting that he follows through on his promises.
The ward tour rally showcases the party’s dedication to grassroots engagement and its determination to build on the progress made under Governor Makinde’s administration.
By reaffirming their commitment to the governor’s leadership, Hon. Ogunlade and the PDP stakeholders aim to foster a sense of unity and purpose, driving the party forward in Ogbomoso North.
