Photos News: Oyo PDP reconciles Saki West leaders, restates loyalty to Makinde

The leadership of the Oyo State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today engaged with stakeholders of the party in Saki West Local Government, with a focus on promoting inclusivity and unity within the party.

The meeting, which was presided by the state secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, alongside Barr. Gbadegesin Waheed Kunle, Hon. Mufu Ogunremi, Micheal Ogunsina, Kunmi Adesina, and Pastor Biodun Popoola provided a platform for open discussion on issues affecting the party in the local government.

One of the key issues discussed was the need for inclusivity amongst various political tendencies within the party. The leadership emphasized the importance of providing a sense of belonging to every member of the party, regardless of their background or political affiliation.

The meeting was a huge success, with the stakeholders unanimously restating their loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership.

The leadership of the party was able to successfully reconcile the various political interests, and a renewed commitment to working together towards the party’s goals was evident.

The stakeholders expressed their appreciation to the leadership for organizing the meeting, which they described as a timely intervention. They pledged to continued support for the governor’s leadership and work towards building a stronger, more united party in Saki West Local Government.

Present at the meeting are prominent stakeholders from Saki west local government such as Hon. Gbenga Akionla, the council chairman, Baba Alaraje, Barr. Sharafa Onijo, Hon. Musa Abdulwasi, Hon. Rafiu Adekunle, Hon. Femi Julius Okedoyin, Hon. Najeem Omirinde, local party leadership, council members as well as state government appointees from Saki West.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to the party’s ideals.

The Oyo State PDP leadership is confident that this engagement will strengthen the party’s presence in Saki West Local Government and contribute to the overall development of the state.
