Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the esteemed CEO of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort and a well-known philanthropist, has been officially installed as the Ajia Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The honour was bestowed on him by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin Ige I.

The installation ceremony, which took place at the historic Olubadan palace, drew a distinguished audience of traditional rulers, political leaders, and well-wishers from across the region.

The atmosphere was filled with joy and celebration as attendees gathered to witness the significant event.

Sanusi, who previously held the title of Jagunmolu Olubadan, was recognized for his unwavering dedication to fostering peace, promoting economic growth, and empowering the youth in Ibadan.

His philanthropic efforts have made a substantial impact on the community, earning him respect and admiration from various sectors.

In his acceptance speech, Sanusi expressed gratitude for the honor and reaffirmed his commitment to the development and unity of Ibadanland.

“This title is not just a personal achievement; it is a call to serve my people more diligently. I am dedicated to furthering initiatives that uplift our community and inspire the next generation.”

His elevation to the prestigious title of Ajia Olubadan not only symbolizes his accomplishments but also emphasizes the importance of leadership and responsibility in guiding the youth and promoting harmony within the community.

As Ajia Olubadan, Sanusi is to play a vital role in the cultural and social cohesion of Ibadanland, continuing the legacy of service and dedication that defines the Olubadan chieftaincy.
