In a swift response to the tragic fire outbreak at Sango Market, the Honorable member representing the good people of Ibadan North Constituency 2 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, alongside the Chairmanship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Olufade Oluwaseun, visited the scene this morning.

Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel assured immediate evacuations of all the affected stalls, pledging swift action by providing materials for the reconstruction process. He expressed his commitment to collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including the current Local Government Chairman, Hon. Biro, to secure a befitting structure for the affected traders. Additionally, he and Hon. Olufade Oluwaseun promised financial support to aid in their recovery.

“I will communicate with the market leaders to provide me with the names of the victims and details of their assets. I will bring up the matter on the floor of the house and convene relevant stakeholders to ensure prompt assistance for the victims,” said Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel.

He emphasized that, especially if Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade emerges victorious at the polls, comprehensive plans will be put in place to prevent similar incidents in the future.
