MAKINDE COMMISSIONER BALOGUN FELICITATES ADOPTIVE FATHER;AROLE IBA OLUYOLE ON HIS BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

As Chief Alhaji Nureni Adebayo Akanbi JP marks another year of a remarkable life and legacy of positive impact, his adoptive daughter,the Honorable Commissioner for Women Affairs & Social Inclusion; Hon( Mrs) Toyin Balogun joins Baba’s family,friends and loved ones both at home and in the diaspora to celebrate a father figure,a remarkable man,nay an institution who is one of the most forthright,no nonsense,straightforward humans with a heart of gold who she feels privileged to call father and to be counted as one of the adoptive children of the reverred Statesman.

In her birthday message, Hon. Balogun paid glowing tribute to Baba Commissioner as she fondly called him, describing him as a pillar of wisdom, a guardian and repository of tradition, and an unwavering advocate for development,peace and progress in Ibadanland and Oyo State at large.

“Baba Commissioner, thank you sir for your priceless guidance,wisdom,advice and support always,” Hon. Balogun stated warmly, reflecting on her bond with the elder statesman. “Your exemplary no nonsense character, your selfless leadership, your deep commitment to both faith and community and above all your love,forthright affection and support ( always couched in tough love) for my Principal Governor Seyi Makinde are virtues I personally do not take for granted.”

Baba Arole Ile Iba Oluyole, who also serves in multiple roles of Baba’sale Musulumi of Ibadanland, Laguna Balogun of Ibadanland, and a respected member of the Oyo State Elders Council, is celebrated not only for his traditional titles but also for his influential role as a forthright chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State.
