The Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland and Chairman of Solutions 93.9 FM, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, has extended warm felicitations to the Laguna Balogun of Ibadanland, Alhaji (Chief) Nureni Adebayo Akanbi, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a felicitation statement released on May 3, the Oyo PDP guber Adegoke described Alhaji Akanbi as a highly revered elder, a steadfast community leader, and a beacon of wisdom whose contributions to the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State remain immeasurable.
“Alhaji Nureni Akanbi, the Baba’sale Musulumi of Ibadanland and a distinguished member of the Oyo State Elders Council, stands as a towering figure of leadership and service. His dedication to the progress of our people, both in religious and political spheres, continues to inspire many,” Adegoke stated.
He also praised Alhaji Akanbi’s steadfast role within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, describing him as “a pillar of strength, a strategist, and a loyal party chieftain whose guidance has been instrumental in sustaining unity and progress within the party.”
“As he marks another year of grace, we pray for continued health, divine wisdom, and many more years of impactful leadership. Ibadanland is indeed blessed to have a man of his caliber among its most treasured sons,” he added.
