As workers across Nigeria mark the annual Workers’ Day celebration, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended heartfelt greetings to the workers of Ibadan North, Oyo State, and the entire nation, applauding their dedication and contributions to national growth.

In a goodwill message released on Thursday, May 1st, through his Head of Media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Hon. Olufade described workers as the backbone of development, whose tireless efforts continue to shape the future of the country.

“Happy Workers’ Day and welcome to the month of May! Cheers to the hands that build, serve, and inspire.

Today, we honour your resilience, your hard work, and your unwavering commitment to service,” he said.

He acknowledged the pivotal role public servants and private sector workers play in building a more prosperous society, stressing that no meaningful progress can be made without their input.

“As we step into a new month, I pray that May brings you peace, progress, and prosperity in every area of your life,” the council boss added.

Hon. Olufade also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the welfare of workers within the local government, assuring them of continued support, inclusive policies, and an enabling environment for excellence.

“Your work matters, and together we will continue to move Ibadan North forward,” he concluded.
