The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Hon. Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, has joined millions of Nigerians to celebrate workers on the occasion of International Workers’ Day (May Day), describing them as the pillars of good governance and sustainable development.

In a statement signed by the Chairman’s Press Secretary, Mr. Rahmon Alawode, and made available to newsmen, Dr. GLORIOUS commended the resilience, dedication, and tireless contributions of workers, especially those serving in Ona Ara Local Government.

According to him, the progress recorded in governance at the grassroots level would not have been possible without the unwavering support and sacrifices of the workforce.

> “Our workers are the true drivers of development and the silent heroes behind every government achievement. Their loyalty, commitment, and professional conduct are the bedrock of the good governance we all strive for,” he said.

The Chairman also offered heartfelt prayers for all workers, wishing them renewed strength, sound health, and fulfillment in all their endeavours.

He concluded by reaffirming his administration’s commitment to ensuring better welfare and a conducive working environment for all employees under the local government.

Happy Workers’ Day!
