Lagelu, Oyo State – May 1, 2025

The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, has extended heartfelt appreciation to workers across the local government and beyond on the occasion of Workers’ Day. In a statement released today, the chairman praised the dedication, resilience, and invaluable contributions of workers to the growth and development of Lagelu.

Kamorudeen described workers as the backbone of the local government’s progress, emphasizing their role in driving economic and social advancement. “Your tireless efforts, commitment, and sacrifices are the foundation upon which our community thrives,” he said. “From civil servants to artisans, teachers to healthcare workers, your labor fuels our collective success.”

The chairman highlighted ongoing initiatives to improve workers’ welfare, including timely salary payments, training programs, and enhanced working conditions. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing workers’ rights and creating an enabling environment for productivity.

In celebration of Workers’ Day, Hon. Kamorudeen urged workers to remain steadfast and innovative in their duties, assuring them of continued support.
