AFCON: Oyo State Football Fans Enthralled by Governor Makinde’s Free Broadcast of Super Eagles Games, Show Appreciation for his Support

 

 

Nigeria match against Angola in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament brought immense excitement and joy to football fans across the state with the 45 Accredited Viewing Centre. In Oyo State, Nigeria, the enthusiasm reached new heights as thousands of football fans were able to watch the Super Eagles games for free through the broadcast in 45 different centers. This initiative by Governor Makinde not only brought the games closer to the fans but also showcased his commitment to promoting sports in the state. The gratefulness expressed by the fans is a testament to the impact this gesture had on the community.

 

 

The free broadcast of the Super Eagles game in 45 different centers across Oyo State was a game-changer for football fans. It allowed them to gather together and experience the thrill of the tournament in a shared environment. Speaking to the press on the plan of ministry of youth and sports in the state towards Nigeria next game, Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke said “the success of the free broadcast of the Super Eagles games being broadcast free across the state sets a positive precedent for future sports events, it highlights the importance of accessibility and inclusivity in promoting sports and inclusion among our youths”.

 

“Governor Makinde’s support for the Super Eagles and the football community in Oyo State is also a testament to his dedication to the overall development of the state. Sports Commissioner said’.

 

She called on all football lovers to also come out and watch Nigeria against South Africa on Wednesday in all the accredited viewing centres as it is a shining example of how sports can bring people together and create a positive impact on society”.
