As Christians across the globe commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the lawmaker representing Ibadan North East Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Babalola Abiodun, has extended warm Easter greetings to the Christian faithful in his constituency and beyond.
In a statement released on Easter Sunday, Hon. Babalola described the season as a time of renewal, reflection, and hope. He urged Christians to embrace the core values of Easter, which include love, sacrifice, forgiveness, and unwavering faith in the face of adversity.
“Easter is a period that reminds us of God’s boundless love and the victory of life over death,” Babalola said. “It is also a time to reflect on our lives and renew our commitment to the path of peace, unity, and selfless service to humanity.”
He called on residents of Ibadan North East Constituency 1 and Oyo State at large to use the season to strengthen communal ties, promote harmony, and support efforts aimed at improving the wellbeing of all citizens.
Hon. Babalola also prayed for continued peace and progress in the state and the nation, expressing optimism that Nigeria will overcome its present challenges through collective sacrifice and dedication.
