As Christians across the world mark Good Friday in solemn remembrance of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, 2027 gubernatorial aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, has extended warm greetings to the Christian faithful and all residents of the state.
Oloye Adegoke who is also Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, and known for his visionary leadership and philanthropic strides, described Good Friday as a moment not only for reflection, but also a reminder of the profound lessons in love, humility, and sacrifice demonstrated by Jesus Christ.
“Good Friday teaches us that the greatest form of leadership is sacrifice,” he stated.
“In the footsteps of Christ, we must be willing to put the needs of our people before our own, especially in times like this when Oyo State yearns for sincere and transformational change.”
The Solutions 93.9 FM Chairman , Oloye Adegoke emphasized that his ambition for the governorship in 2027 is driven by the same values of compassion, sacrifice, and service.
“What our people need is not just promises, but Real Solutions and Massive Development,” he asserted.
“Solutions that are people-centered, just like the mission of Christ was. My aspiration is a call to serve and uplift the good people of Oyo State with integrity and purpose.”
He urged the people of Oyo to reflect on the lessons of the season; love, endurance, unity, and hope, and allow them to guide their decisions.
“Let us embrace this season with a renewed commitment to peace, understanding, and shared progress.
Just as Jesus brought light through sacrifice, together we can bring lasting solutions to our dear state,” he concluded.
