The Oyo State Government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced the opening of the voting platform for the final stage of the Most Impactful Young Persons Award. The public is now invited to cast their votes for the winner of each category.

Commisioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke noted that More than 80 outstanding nominees have advanced to the final stage, competing for the top spot in their respective categories. The final voting stage is now open, and the public’s vote will determine the 20 winners who will emerge victorious in their categories, concluding this year’s award process.

Award Categories:

– Youth Awards
-Advocacy: Recognizing outstanding young advocates in Oyo State

Art and Craft: Celebrating creativity and innovation in art and craft

Agribusiness: Honoring young entrepreneurs in agriculture and business

Community Service: Acknowledging dedication to community development

Creative Industry: Showcasing talent in the creative sector

Education: Recognizing contributions to education and learning

Entrepreneurship: Commending innovative business leaders

Sports: Celebrating athletic excellence

Technology: Honoring innovation and achievement in technology

Tourism and Hospitality: Recognizing contributions to tourism and hospitality
Special Awards

Oyo State Service to Youth Development Award: Honoring individuals 50 years and above who have contributed significantly to youth development

Corp Member of the Year Award: Recognizing outstanding corps members

Student of the Year Award: Celebrating academic excellence among students

-Youth of the Year Award: Honoring the most impactful young person

The award which is one of the highlighted programmes for this year’s submit, themed “Unlocking Youth Potential; Addressing Needs, Fulfilling Dreams,” aims to recognize outstanding young individuals between 18 and 40 years old who have excelled in their chosen fields. The voting platform is open to the public, allowing them to selecting the winners
