Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, the Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and the Political Head/Administrator of Ajorosun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has joined other notable voices in mourning the passing of two revered elder statesmen in Oyo State – Chief Yekini Adeojo and Pa Victor Omololu Olunloyo.

In a heartfelt statement released to the press, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple described the deaths of both political giants as a monumental loss to the entire state, noting that their legacies would continue to serve as a compass for leadership and development.

According to Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, “Chief Yekini Adeojo was not just a foundational pillar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South West, he was a father figure, a political stabilizer, and a guiding light to many of us. His impact on Nigeria’s political evolution cannot be overstated.”

On the passing of Pa Victor Omololu Olunloyo, the former Governor of Oyo State, Hon. Simple praised his intellectual brilliance and remarkable contributions to the development of the state.

“Pa Olunloyo was a symbol of wisdom and excellence.

His commitment to good governance and progress remains deeply appreciated by the people of Oyo,” he stated.

He extended his condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde, the bereaved families, and the people of Oyo State, praying for God’s comfort and strength for all who mourn.

“May the Almighty grant them eternal rest and give us the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss,” he concluded.
