A Prominent political figure, Ogunsola Olusina has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Oyo State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Chief Yekini Adeojo.

In a heartfelt statement released today, the initiator of Ogunsola Olusina Initiative described the late Chief Adeojo as not only a respected leader and philanthropist but also a mentor and a crucial pillar in the state’s democratic landscape.

In his tribute, the Ogunsola Olusina highlighted Chief Adeojo’s unwavering commitment to the principles of democracy and his tireless efforts in fostering political stability within Oyo State.

He emphasized the pivotal role Chief Adeojo played in the PDP, offering guidance and support to numerous party members over the years.

“The passing of Chief Yekini Adeojo is a profound loss for Oyo State and the PDP,” the Ogunsola Olusina stated.

“He was more than just a political leader; he was a mentor to many, including myself. His wisdom, his dedication to democratic ideals, and his unwavering commitment to the progress of our state were truly remarkable. He stood as a pillar of democracy, and his absence will be deeply felt.”

The Ogunsola Olusina further recalled instances where Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland, Chief Adeojo’s counsel and leadership proved invaluable, particularly during critical junctures in the state’s political history.

He lauded Chief Adeojo’s ability to bridge divides and foster unity within the party, qualities that earned him widespread respect across the political spectrum.
