The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo has felicitated with Muslim faithful in the Local Government and across the country on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan and celebration of Eid- l-fitr.
The Council Boss charged the muslim faithfuls to sustain the teachings of the just concluded Holy month of Ramadan in their undertakings.
The Chairman in a release signed by the Council Information Officer, Kafayat Olagunju, implored all Muslims to reflect the lessons of Ramadan through sustained supplications and prayers for the peace and progress of Ona Ara Local Government, Oyo State and Nigeria.
The Council Boss extends his sincere congratulations to the people of Ona Ara Local Government and the Oyo State as they celebrate this special occasion. He encourages Muslims to uphold the noble virtues instilled during the blessed month of Ramadan—piety, self-discipline, patience, and compassion. He urges everyone to remain steadfast in prayers for peace, stability, and prosperity across the nation.
He further underscores the importance of sustaining the values of sacrifice, selflessness, and moral integrity beyond Ramadan, emphasizing that these principles are vital for societal harmony and national development.
Dr. Kolapo also acknowledges and commends the dedication and cooperation of the Legislative Council, Political Functionaries, Management, Staff, Traditional Rulers, Political Stalwarts, Religious and Community Leaders and other Stakeholders for their unwavering supports in the Progress, development and for subscribing to his New Era Agenda. He prays that Allah (SWT) accepts their acts of worship and rewards their sacrifices abundantly.
He noted that the month of Ramadan teaches kindness,sacrifice and forgiveness and we must uphold these teachings and imbibe them as we live together in peace and harmony.
Dr. Kolapo said we should continue to seek God’s face more than ever before at this crucial time in our nation, join voices and seek God’s intervention on the issues affecting our country.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to promoting understanding and peaceful coexistence among the people of the Council, irrespective of their religion differences.
