The Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, has congratulated Muslims in Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitri, marking the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Oba Ladoja praised the Muslim faithful for their devotion, perseverance, and commitment to their faith during the holy month.

He noted that their sacrifices and prayers have brought them closer to Allah and have fostered a sense of community and solidarity among Muslims.

Oba Ladoja noted that the lessons learned during Ramadan, such as self-discipline, empathy, and generosity, should be carried forward into everyday life. He urged Muslims to continue to promote peace, love, and unity, which are essential values of Islam.

The Otun Olubadan also called on Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for the country’s peace, stability, and progress. He emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among Nigerians, regardless of their religious or ethnic backgrounds.

As Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Fitri, Oba Ladoja wished them a joyous and peaceful celebration with family and friends. He prayed that Allah would accept their fasting and other acts of worship, and grant them wisdom, guidance, and protection.

Oba Ladoja emphasized the importance of religious tolerance and understanding, stressing that Nigerians must work together to build a better future. He encouraged Muslims and non-Muslims alike to continue to live in peace and harmony, promoting mutual respect and understanding.
