In the spirit of Ramadan 1446AH, Hon. Lukman Abayomi Olajide, popularly known as “Royal Umbrella” and fondly called “Ore Gomina,” extended a gesture of goodwill and support to Oluyole Cheshire Home.

Olajide, who is also the Chief Coordinator of The GSMists, visited the home, bringing gifts and words of encouragement to the children as the holy month round off. His visit aimed to share the joy and blessings of Ramadan with those in need.

During his address to the children, Hon. Olajide urged them to maintain faith and gratitude, emphasizing the importance of believing in God’s plan.

“Continue to appreciate and believe God, as He is the only one who knows the purpose for your lives,” he stated, offering words of hope and resilience.

The matron of the home, Adewunmi Ojobe expressed profound gratitude for Hon. Olajide’s visit and generous contributions. In recognition of his kindness, Mrs Ojobe and Mr Oyewole presented him with a commendation letter, acknowledging his compassion and commitment to the welfare of the children.

The gesture by Hon. Olajide highlights the spirit of giving and community support that Ramadan embodies. It also underscores the importance of showing love and care to vulnerable members of society, particularly during significant religious observances.

Royal Umbrella Cares will continue to be involved in community-focused initiatives, reflecting his dedication to social responsibility.

His longstanding friendship with the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has further fueled his commitment to serving the people .
