… As Dr. Fagbemi commends Gov. Makinde’s super for healthcare development

The Chairman Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board (OYSHMB), Dr. Akin Fagbemi, has presented a letter of recommendation to Jericho Nursing Home, upgrading it to the 5th Semi-Autonomous Hospital in the state.
This move is part of the government’s efforts to provide qualitative, accessible, and affordable healthcare delivery to citizens, breeding a healthy and productive populace.

The event which took place at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Health, Ibadan.
In his address, Dr. Fagbemi appreciated His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, for his support in ensuring the OYSHMB achieves its goals in the health sector.

The chairman charged the hospital to improve its services and maintain excellence among healthcare facilities in the state.
He appealed to the staff of the hospital to cooperate with the acting Chief Medical Director (CMD) to sustain the hospital’s new status.
In his remarks, The Executive Secretary of Oyo State Health Insurance Agency (OYSHIA), Dr. Olusola Akande, congratulated the management and staff of Jericho Nursing Home on their new status.
Her urged stakeholders to work towards sustaining the status and providing quality services.
In his remarks, The Acting CMD, Dr. Funso Adegoke, praised the governor’s gesture and promised to support the sustainable healthcare delivery initiative, “Omi-Tuntun 2.0.”
Present at the event were Dr. Akin Fagbemi, Dr. Olusola Akande, directors, and heads of departments at Jericho Nursing Home.
