The Chairman of the Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency (OYCSDA), Honorable Abideen Adeaga, has extended warm Ramadan greetings to the Muslim community in Oyo State. In his message, Hon. Adeaga highlighted the significance of the holy month of Ramadan, urging Muslims to embrace the values of kindness, generosity, and forgiveness.

In a statement released today, Hon. Adeaga emphasized that Ramadan is not only a time for spiritual reflection and devotion but also an opportunity to strengthen communal bonds and promote social harmony. He called on the Muslim faithful to use this sacred period to extend acts of charity, support the less privileged, and foster unity within the state.

“Ramadan is a blessed month that reminds us of the importance of compassion, selflessness, and forgiveness. As we fast and pray, let us also remember to extend a hand of kindness to those in need and to forgive one another, fostering peace and unity in our communities,” Hon. Adeaga stated.

The OYCSDA Chairman also commended the Muslim community for their contributions to the socio-economic development of Oyo State and urged them to continue upholding the values of tolerance and mutual respect. He reassured residents of the state government’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote inclusivity and welfare for all citizens, regardless of religious or ethnic affiliations.

Hon. Adeaga further encouraged Muslims to pray for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole during this holy month. He expressed confidence that the lessons of Ramadan would inspire greater solidarity and collective efforts toward building a more harmonious and prosperous society.

As the Muslim community in Oyo State joins millions around the world to observe Ramadan, Hon. Abideen Adeaga’s message serves as a timely reminder of the shared values that unite humanity and the importance of using this sacred period to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

The OYCSDA remains committed to supporting community-driven initiatives that enhance social cohesion and improve the quality of life for all residents of Oyo State.

*Ramadan Kareem!*
