As part of meticulous planning, the Oyo State Traffic Management Authority has trained aides of Governor Seyi Makinde and volunteers from the 33 local government areas in the state. The training, focused on traffic management and proper road usage, was aimed at preparing volunteers for the upcoming Birthday Community Service in honor of Adeyemo Adedeji Ola, the Special Assistant on Political Matters to the Oyo State Governor.

The volunteers participated in hands-on training designed to engage them through tasks and practical exercises. This active learning approach provided them with the essential knowledge and skills needed for effective community service.
In his brief address, Prince Deji Ola expressed gratitude to the volunteers for their willingness to contribute to the community service in celebration of another productive year of his life. He also commended the Oyo State Traffic Management Authority for organizing the strategic training, emphasizing that effective traffic management requires more than just fieldwork.

“The task demands thorough planning and training, and we have achieved that today,” Ola stated.
He further highlighted the crucial role of volunteering in community development, acknowledging that the current administration has made significant progress in various sectors, particularly in traffic management. He cited improvements in junctions and the recruitment of qualified personnel to the public agency as key achievements.

The community service event is set for March 5, 2025, with volunteers expected to gather at the Ibadan North Local Government Secretariat by 7 a.m for further instructions on traffic management and public awareness.
