Oyo Correctional Comptroller Hails Ibadan North East Council Boss, Akintayo, Over Security Beef Up

The Assistant Controller of Correctional Service, Oyo state, ACC R.O Olayiwola, has commended the executive chairman of Ibadan North local government for checkmating all forms of security threats in his council area as well as his personal security.

ACC Olayiwola made the commendation on Wednesday 26th, during his working visit to the office of the chairman at Iwo Road in Ibadan.

Olayiwola’s visit is said to be on enhancing the security in the Local Government and identifying new frontiers for collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening national security and the criminal justice system.

According to the Oyo Correctional Controller, he said Akintayo, the Ibadan local government chairman, has displayed exceptional commitment towards securing his council area.

Olayiwola, while acknowledging Akintayo’s effort on security, reiterated his vision to restructure the Agodi Correctional Service towards greater efficiency and professionalism, further emphasizing the need to deepen cooperation, particularly in exploring innovative strategies for expediting the dispensation of justice and strengthening institutional frameworks for corrections and law enforcement synergy.

In her reaction, the council chairman, Ibrahim Akintayo commended ACC Olayiwola for his proactive leadership and professionalism.

He assured him of his Local Government’s continuous support in security.
