Just In: Otunba Seye Famojuro resolved The GSMists lingering crises, set to unveil New Executives

In apparent reaction to the online publication of the communique signed by The GSMists Stakeholders which dissolved the State Secretary of the group, State PRO and other Senatorial Coordinators, the Director_General of The GSMists, Otunba Seye Famojuro on Wednesday, February 19 held an emergency meeting with The GSMists Stakeholders and the Excos Suspended over misused of power and allegations on misappropriation of funds.

Otunba Seye Famojuro in his opening remarks commended the group for the great work they have been doing in ensuring that they are projecting and promoting the good developmental projects of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, The Executive Governor of Oyo State for the past 5 years

He stressed further that the group has come to stay and any stumbled wall will be removed even though there bounds to be disagreement in a group most especially a group who has cut across the 33 Local Governments in Oyo State.

He urged the leadership of the group, Hon. Olajide Abayomi Lukman (Royal Umbrella) to always carry their members along in any of their dealing as lack of it may give room for all sort of name callings.
He equally admonished the suspended Excos to always consider themselves as a servant leader rather than a Boss who feels is not answerable to anyone that they should always be humble wherever they go no matter who they are in the society.

Acting PRO, Oluyinka Tella, speaking on behalf of the Stakeholders seized the medium to appreciate Otunba Seye Famojuro for the unwavering support he has been rendering for the upliftment of The GSMists group since it was created. He prayed to Almighty God to continue to bless him more with wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

Also a well known Islamic scholar, Mogaji Adanla, Engr. Abdul Jeleel AbdulKareem, Chairman,Youth Agency, Prince Adebowale Falana, Agbaakin of Olunrundaba, Chief Benedict Akika , Dr Gbolahan Abimbola, Mr Ayo Ogunfolakan, Mr Adebayo Ayobami, Mr Olugbenga Adedamola Adebayo and other Elders present at the Peace meeting.

Acting PRO assured them that the group will continue to wax stronger like never before because The GSMists is an household name in Oyo State.

Hon. Olajide Abayomi Lukman (Royal Umbrella) in his closing remark reaffirmed his commitment to the group as he revealed that since the crisis has been resolved hence it behooves on him to tell the public that he will now prefer as a Founder of the group, to be part of the Board of Trustees rather than State Coordinator while the Stakeholders come up with the new names for the State Executives of The GSMists and this was unanimously accepted.

With this development, New State & Local Government Excos for The GSMists Group will be unveil very soon when the logistics and consultations are done with all critical Stakeholders that will bring their inputs in State & Local Governments respectively.
