The Chairman of Ibadan North East local government area of Ibadan, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, has joined other political actors in the state to celebrate the Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, on the occasion of his birthday today.
He hailed the Ibarapa-born politician for his tremendous contributions to the growth and development of the State.
Akintayo, in a statement personally signed on Monday, acknowledged the legislative prowess demonstrated by the Speaker in the management of the affairs of the House over the years.
He described Ogundoyin as a brilliant legislator whose impacts on the advancement of the cause of good legislation and responsible and responsive representation cannot be quantified.
Akintayo equally attested to the quality of people-oriented legislation the House under Ogundoyin’s leadership has been able to churn out in the past few years.
“I am indeed proud of you for serving as a rallying point in building and strengthening mutual understanding, cooperation,, and support between the executive and legislative arms since your emergence as the Speaker,” Akintayo stated.
He, however, wished him a long life and prosperity in sound health.
